Amman, Jordan. This was taken from the Roman city. The modern city was so close to the ancient sites and a painting of the Jordanian flag and the King was prominent.

We were making our way to Petra and we came across this dam. It was a giant oasis in what felt like an ocean of sand.
This was the night tour of Petra. We walked along the candlelit path to this beautiful view. It is amazing was fairy lights can do in a paper bag. While there music was played, traditional songs were song as well as folk tales told.

The walk to get there was tough. It was farther than we expected and it was early afternoon so the sun was beating down on us. By the time we arrived there we did not mind being covered in dust and sand. Luckily there was a coffee shop there where we had a much needed cool drink.
This was taken as we were leaving he ancient site and this horse and carriage was going into the ancient city.
